About

ILLUMINATED SCULPTURAL OBJECTS
WITH DOCUMENTED PROVENANCE

Humpty Dumpty Design Studio creates illuminated sculptural objects built from documented historic components. Each piece is assembled from donor elements of glass, brass, crystal, and ceramic, combining preservation, craftsmanship, and transparent sourcing.
The studio operates across two distinct lines. Its Preservation Line focuses on historically significant lamps, carefully cleaned and stabilized with original patina intact. Electrical components are updated only when unsafe or missing, with all interventions documented. Its Couture Line recontextualizes donor pieces into one-of-a-kind sculptural works that carry forward the material and design lineage of their sources.
Every piece carries a Provenance Pledge: no unverified claims, only documented fact. Listings include provenance logs, restoration notes, and transparent sourcing records so clients can place each object with confidence.
A defining element of the studio’s work is its crystal archive, which includes New Old Stock Murano teardrops from 1993, Murano spears produced prior to 1989, and 1980s Swarovski STRASS octagons. These components reflect verifiable Venetian and Austrian production histories and form the material backbone of many builds.
Humpty Dumpty Design Studio offers illuminated sculptural works for collectors, galleries, and design professionals who approach lighting as a form of art rather than decoration.
