<div>Gauthier~Stacy, Inc. was founded in 1996, after its two principals worked together at a prominent Boston-based interior design firm. In the ensuing years they have built a team who are dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic for what they do. The staff of nine includes two Principals, an Architect, four Project Captains and two Administrative staff. Jim Gauthier has been working in the interior design field since 1988. He has worked at some of Boston’s most noted firms. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has been a member of the American Society of Interior Designers since 1995, where he served as a Board Member from 1998 to 2000. Susan Stacy has been working in the interior design field since 1986. Before founding Gauthier~Stacy with her partner Jim Gauthier, she also worked at some of Boston’s most prominent interior design and architecture firms. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and studied Architecture at the University of Copenhagen. In 2007, Jim and Susan were awarded the Presidential Citation from the American Society of Interior Designers, New England Chapter, in recognition of outstanding accomplishments and lasting contributions in the field of Interior Design.
