Melanie Veliz established freska in 2008 after leaving her successful career of 10 years in the home furnishings business in which she ascended the ranks quite rapidly. Noticing a gap in the market for “fresh” pieces, she began to acquire and reinvent vintage pieces to give discerning clients fabulous items that were one of a kind. Her passion for finding the unique and exquisite is what has defined freska since its inception as a chic and timeless resource for design and fashion.
