Evolutia is a small, family-run business that began seeking sustainable paths for historic buildings, mills, barns, and homes more than 15 years ago. We reclaim, repurpose, recycle, and transform previously-used building materials like wood, brick, and tile. We operate on the belief that if we care for the environment, support our community, and inspire our customers, we will see profits and growth. We seek to expand into all areas of green sustainable growth through our historical deconstruction projects and subsequent transformation of reclaimed materials into premium products like flooring, beams, skins, mantles, specialty millwork, and more. We cater to anyone interested in premium reclaimed wood for their home design or commercial space. All of our products offer an exclusive appearance, excellent durability, and a unique story that adds a dimension new materials cannot.

Our process begins with dilapidated structures deemed "unusable." In addition to these old structures are solid wood waste streams like pallets and shipping crates. After sourcing, our reclaimed wood materials are inspected, documented, cleaned, and inventoried at our warehouse located in Birmingham, Ala. Our extensive reclaimed wood inventory is in constant rotation and changes often. This high volume and turnover provide uniquely distinct appearances that are difficult to imitate with new lumber. Each material's history, unique characteristics, and durability are our hallmarks of success in the reclaimed wood industry. Our finished products offer the key features found in reclaimed wood and are processed entirely onsite in our facility. This allows us to ensure the integrity and preservation of the materials. We take great pride in bringing quality materials back into service and extending the life cycle of limited resources.

In addition to our reclaimed products, we source premium, new growth products as well.
