Brian Elston's art is influenced through continual research and study of
modernism, architecture, furniture design, fashion, street art,
graphic design, minimalism and Bauhaus design.
Brian's work reflects many layers of interest, dimension and texture
to the viewer. Each painting is unique with attention to detail,
form, texture, finish, composition, and high quality craftmanship.
Layered ground and heavy tactile texture using modeling paste,
pumice sandstone, enamels, varnishes and heavy body acrylic are
used to build the art. The highest quality vibrant pigment paints,
mixed mediums and archival gallery canvas are used to build each
painting.
Elston's art has been collected by an international audience of
corporations, galleries, hotels, interior designers and private art collectors
for over 20 years.
