About

Shop Banner

Douglas Condzo is an independent, self-taught visual artist from Mozambique whose work is a vibrant convergence of documentary realism, Afrofuturism, and high-fashion editorial. Born and raised in a country defined by a rich cultural heritage and a turbulent history, Condzo’s path to the arts was driven by a relentless determination to master visual storytelling outside the walls of formal art schools.

His artistic language is a dialogue between his Mozambican roots and global influences. Drawing early inspiration from the bold, revolutionary spirit of Mozambican master Malangatana Ngwenya, as well as the geometric precision of Thomas Struth and the street-level grit of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Condzo has developed a signature style that captures the "emotional architecture" of urban life.
