Dear Lover of Art and Beauty,

Artistic expression has been my passion since I was a child, and no matter the journey, I have never stopped drawing, painting and writing. I find great peace seeing God's creation. When I go to the beach and see the light and colors of the ocean and sky and sand I feel a great sense of awe that puts everything in perspective. My seascapes and landscapes are an attempt to recreate this very finite connection on a canvas.

I studied Fine Art and English Literature at Southwest Missouri State which included printmaking, drawing, pastel, acrylic and watercolor painting. I then spent 30 years raising six children, home schooling, teaching art classes, writing, getting published and becoming a professional artist.. I'm now seeing the fruit of my labors in my children and grandchildren and art!

I currently reside on the West Coast of Florida and am always inspired by the islands of the Gulf of Mexico, especially Anna Maria Island. The beaches, islands, coastal waters, marshes, rivers, flora and fauna and skies of Florida are daily doses of awe inspiring beauty.

Life can be hard at times, but the beauty of this earth reminds me to look up and be thankful for all that God has given.

All of God’s creation speaks of His glory and beauty.
