Mid-century modern furniture was born out of the giddy optimism and hope for a bright future that characterized post-war America. The mid-twentieth century was a time of hope, revitalization, and innovation.
Our collection of vintage furniture is hand-selected for quality, authenticity and to evoke the optimism and energy of the era. We’re inspired by the pioneering architects and designers who envisioned some of the most diverse and iconic styles in our country’s history. The era’s cultural and design revolution fostered magic collaboration between the architects and designers and companies who manufactured their creations, producing designs that remain modern and relevant today.
Raised around the furniture factories in Hickory, North Carolina, Stan learned early how to spot quality and later honed his skills restoring vintage classics. Katrina has used her keen creative eye and knack for discovering hidden gems, curating collections for dozens of homes over the years. We created Charlotte Vintage to share our love of mid-century modern home furnishings, to spark conversation, inspiration, and connection with you.
As we enter a post-pandemic world and look forward to inviting guests in again, we invite you to visit us regularly at our Chairish shop.
