Artist Statement:
“I’m motivated by color and beautiful design.
When I create, I choose colors and shapes that interact with one another in a way that I hope will not only bring beauty into a space, but will inspire and invoke joy.”

Contemporary artist, Laurie Lindqvist, was raised in New York, where her artistic endeavor began. She later attended the Art Institute of Dallas and adopted Texas as her new home.
Laurie has experience as an interior designer, artist consultant, and retail business entrepreneur which has contributed to the development of her style.
She has created both sculptural and functional art as well as her two-dimensional pieces. Though she has worked in several mediums, She has always been consistent in her use of bold color and design.
He current works are vivid geometric hard-edge paintings on canvas. Her work can be found in private collections throughout the U.S , Europe, and New Zealand
