Welcome to AmieByTheLake, where vintage history meets whimsical, high-end fine art. Based in Michigan, my journey with a paintbrush began when I was just a child. That lifelong passion for artistic expression has evolved into a dedicated career reclaiming and transforming exceptional vintage furniture into spectacular, one-of-a-kind statement pieces.
Every piece in my collection is treated as a fine art canvas. Guided by an eclectic, romantic aesthetic, I combine premium structural restoration with meticulous artisan techniques—including rich mineral paintwork, hand-gilded metallic leaf detailing, intricate stenciling, and dramatic botanical decoupage.
I design for the design enthusiast who craves character, depth, and a story in their home. From elegant French Country motifs to bold, whimsical Hollywood Regency focal points, my work is built to anchor a room and bring old-world romance into the modern space.
Custom Commissions:
In addition to my curated collection, I welcome custom commissions. If you love a piece but require a specific color palette, hardware style, or dimensions to fit your interior design project, please reach out. I would love to collaborate and bring your exact creative vision to life.
Thank you for supporting independent, handcrafted artistry. I look forward to helping you find the perfect heirloom statement for your home.
