Each frame in this collection is handmade from solid American chestnut - a wood once as iconic to the American landscape as the artist whose work it now frames. I pair licensed Andrew Wyeth reproductions from his celebrated Four Seasons portfolio with handmade frames completely milled by me in my frame shop. I finish the frames simply to let both the wood's grain and the artist's quiet, weathered palette resonate. Each piece is framed to order using archival grade, acid-free matting and boards for long-term preservation. I'm currently featuring four of Wyeth's works: "Burning Off", "The Berry Picker", "Early October", and "Teel's Island". Check back for more.
