Large artisanal Mingei (民芸) jug from Japan, Taishō period. Dimensions: height 67 cm, diameter 42 cm.
The natural glaze patterns were obtained by firing the vase in a wood-fired anagama (climbing kiln).
Beautiful organic form, highly decorative object with natural tones.
