1950s Stilnovo red metal & opaline glass suspension lamp. A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in sculptural opaline glass, red painted metal, and brass hardware. A highly functional and refined suspension light of attractive scale and incomparable refinement. Unmarked.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by knowledgable collectors.
Accommodates 2x 75w equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulbs (lower with incandescent). Professionally rewired for US electrical and for mounting over a standard American j-box. Not UL listed.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
