Whitman Bailey (1884-1954) drawing on paper of a house in Stamford, Connecticut.
Signed and dated' inscribed "from photo in 1893"
Bailey studied under Howard Pyle and at Pratt. He moved to Stamford in 1924 and for the next 30 years drew historical scenes for the Stamford Advocate newspaper.
