Designed by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, this sculptural Orkidea (Orchid) vase exemplifies Sarpaneva’s modernist approach to form and material. Executed in clear glass, the vase features his signature organic aperture, a hallmark of the Orkidea series, creating depth and visual movement within its fluid silhouette. Some of the photos show it with a sprig of greenery.
This example is small in scale, measuring approximately 5 7/8" high × 2" diameter, making it well suited for shelf, desk, or cabinet display. The vase is signed to the base Timo Sarpaneva 3568 and is presented in wonderful vintage condition.
