An Early C20th Chinese Export Floor Lamp with exquisite carved detail. Sourced from France and most likely of Chinese manufacture for the European Export market, this heavy ebonised and carved hardwood floor lamp combines simple outline with intricate carved scrolling detail, incorporating Chinese Dragons. Form and texture combine to mesmerising effect. Height to lamp holder: 160cm.
