During the years 1948–1955, Pablo Picasso lived in the small town of Vallauris. Whilst there, he met Italian master printmaker Hidalgo Arnéra who owned a print studio called Imprimerie Arnéra.
This rare lithographic poster was printed at the studio and was originally intended to promote the exhibition, ‘Picasso, Gravures Récentes’ at Galerie Madoura in 1969. It features a surrealist illustration of male and female figures by the famous Spanish artist.
