The vases are a combination of orange overflowing into yellow or green glass and encased in clear glass. Italian glass artist Flavio Poli (1900-1980) is known for his development of Murano glass during the 1950s known as Sommerso, or submerged glass made by overlapping different layers of glass, with diverse consistencies and colors. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
