Pair Moderne black & white lacquered steel chests by Norman Bel Geddes, USA, circa 1940s, Restored,
Designed by Norman Bel Geddes (1893 – 1958) Noted American theatrical and industrial designer.
Manufactured by Simmons Company Furniture
Each substantial chest newly re-lacquered, as orignal.
The streamline design and color combination of black lacquered rectangular case, fitted with four white lacquered drawers. The upper drawer measures 5.5-Inches high x 38-Inches wide, the lower three drawers measure 8.5-Inches high x 38-Inches wide. Raised on slight bracket feet.
All the drawers open and operate smoothly and retain the orignal hardware.
