Antique Pine Dough Proofing Box / Table With Brass Hardware From England - Circa 1890.
We found this dough box in northeastern England. While we occasionally see these, we have not seen one that is in this good a shape- or with the pitch pine on the top. We thought this could be used as an island in a small kitchen. Appliances could easily be placed inside for storing. This box is sturdy.
