Vintage Murano Hand blown Glass Flower Paperweight With Original Label.
Attributed to Fratelli Toso, not signed.
Italian Murano Art Glass Paperweight with White and Green Floral Motif.
Handcrafted Murano glass paperweight in a small egg-shape with inset glass white flowers with green stem and a lot of bubbles.
Made on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy where they have been making glass for over 1200 years.
The glassmaking in Venice was moved to the island of Murano due to fear of fires in the 1200's.
The paperweight is not signed, but bears its original gold paper label which reads “Murano Made In Italy” on the side.
The piece is in excellent used condition and ready to give as a special gift or add to your own art glass collections.
Made in Italy, 1950's Fratelli Toso.
