Excellent art ceramic figurine from the 1930s: young lady with bob hairstyle standing upright, torso turned to the left and … Read more Excellent art ceramic figurine from the 1930s: young lady with bob hairstyle standing upright, torso turned to the left and supporting both arms on the hips, in a short blue kimono with a floral pattern and high heels. Behind her between the legs is seated a harlequin doll in a checked suit, with a pointed hat and basin. On a cream-coloured, octagonal, slightly domed base, artist's signature 'dakon' on top, behind the figure. Designed by stephan dakon (1904 - 1992), one of the most important designers who worked for the goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties. Dakon designed this model circa 1929/30.
