A wonderful antique or early vintage circa 1920s heavy silver plated serving platter from Whitehall Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida! Whitehall was originall built as a summer residence for Henry Flagler, one of the founders of Standard Oil. It was sold and turned into a hotel on the 1920s, and is now home to the Henry Flagler museum.
In excellent condition, no large dents or damage, just lots of light surface scratches and marks from use. Mild tarnish that will polish beautifully if desired. marked on the front with the hotel crest, and on the back with the hotel name and Reed & Barton marks. this piece predates the Reed & Barton date mark system introduced in 1928.
Measures approximately 12 inches across.
