We love this extraordinary Murano labled decorative art blown glass object/bowl/basket for its unique form, extraordinary teal turquoise color and twisted glass handle.
There are 3 separate places the artist's pontils are evident. The teal flows in the body of the object, while the clear glass surrounds on the edges. Weight is 3 lbs. 14 oz.
A pontil mark or punt mark is the scar where the glass was blown by freehand.
"Vetro Eseguito Secondo La Tecnica Dei Maestri Di Murano" means the glass was made in accordance with Murano masters, but not actually made by a master.
