Offering a beautiful Madeira-style embroidered cut work, linen tablecloth. Made of natural linen with gray satin floral design stitching and scalloped edges. The textile suggests high thread count as it is not transparent, and soft to the touch.
Beautifully detailed corners, at mid-point along scalloped edging and the main center. The floral cut work pieces are connected thru lacing. Embroidered cut work frames placement for candles, floral centerpiece and serving ware. The gray is a gorgeous standout in this piece!
Excellent vintage condition. Condition is as-found from large estate sale of 70 years of collecting.
