Crafted in Lyon circa 1760, the cabinet is built of fruitwood with a warm and rich walnut patina, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and beautifully figured grain throughout.
The façade is defined by a bold double bonnet top, centered with an exquisitely carved shell crest and flanked by scrolling foliate motifs, a hallmark of the Louis XV period. The two paneled doors are decorated with raised and molded cartouches accented with delicate hand-carved floral details, creating depth and movement across the surface. The armoire stands on elegant scroll feet over a shaped and scalloped apron, reinforcing its refined provincial character.
