This lovely little piece was made by Royal Doulton in 1952 and is titled The Skater, with item number HN2117. The sculpture is a very charming depiction of a pretty young woman figure skating; she is wearing a brown, white, and red dress with a blue hat, and carrying a brown bag around her waist. The piece is stamped on the bottom as having been made in England by Royal Doulton, the fine china and collectibles company, see pictures.
