78481 Vintage Swedish Kilim Rug Rollakan, 04'09 x 07'05. Displaying simplicity with incredible detail and texture, this handwoven wool vintage Swedish rollakan rug provides a feeling of cozy contentment without the clutter. The eye-catching linear design and neutral hues woven into this piece work together creating a truly one-of-a-kind look. A striped pattern composed of horizontal lines run selvage to selvage. The delineated lines cultivate an esoteric juxtaposition among the geometric design. This Scandinavian flatweave rug emulates Barbro Nilsson and her design Randig Med Tvist meaning 'Striped with a twist'.
Rendered in variegated shades of gray, charcoal, and beige with other accent colors.
Lower right corner woven date of 1963.
