The top of the table looks like an engineered stone, like a pebbly quartz or tiny terrazo. It's very beautiful and solid!! The stone can be unscrewed for the base for ease of moving, since it is pretty heavy. The base itself looks like a walnut and has such a lovely undulating shape.
