An exceptionally rare matching pair William and Mary carved walnut armchairs , dating to the late 17th century 1690s . Wonderful colour with an original deep rich patina . scrolling back rail, caned back and seat, the backs retaining their original cane work , scrolling arms turning outwards with carved front supports united by stretchers .
Both chairs have survived in amazingly original condition with usual signs of age use including minor repairs .
