Meissen gorgeous figurine group created by michel victor acier (1736 - 1799) around the year 1774: placidness of childhood
a most lovely baby child lies on an upholstered chaise longue: it plays with a dog supporting itself at child's bed, looking after a toothsome reward seized by child's right hand: obviously it is a small knucklebone \. Rectangular base with splayed edges as well as with frieze decoration existing. Size: height: 18.5 cm (= 7.28 inches) width: 19.0 cm (= 7.48 inches) depth: 16.5 cm (= 6.49 inches) marks: meissen crossed sword mark of first half of 19th century, made circa 1840 bottom not glazed first quality model number e 77 former's number 74 painter's number existing, but quite hard to read
