Form number 718 / PE. Detailed of Herend decor 'PE' (= Persil pattern): Persil decoration is one of the Herend classics. It was inspired by the green leaves of parsley ( = persil in French). This Herend ornament type has normally richly gilded edged areas surrounding a garland of dark and light-green parsley leaves linked by a dark-green strand connected with spiraled black tendrils. The pattern is scattered on white porcelain ground. These Herend soup bowls have following measures: Height of bowls: 2.16 inches, diameter of bowls: 4.33 inches, diameter of saucers: 6.49 inches. Marks: There is at reverse side of soup bowls blue Herend mark with coat of arms and paint brushes (well visible / underglazed) existing. Made circa 1960-1965.
Condition: Excellent The colors are deep and not faded / there aren't any chips, splinters, cracks etc. existing. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
