The … Read more Rare goldscheider figure of the 1920s: the standing dancer wears a pink cylinder hat on her short brown locks. The flower-patterned top of her costume is tight-fitting and sleeveless. Tilting her head slightly to the right, she pulls up her shoulders and lifts the front hem of the frilled skirt, presenting her legs. On a cream-colored faceted round base, artist's signature 'lorenzl' on the top behind the figure. Designed by josef lorenzl (1892 - 1950), one of the most important designers who worked for the goldscheider manufactory in the period of 1920-1940. This model 5523 was created circa 1925.
