The platter's middle area as well as part of edge have smooth surface / frame of edge is decorated with finest ornaments: these are acanthus scrolls covering scalloped edged areas. Made circa 1870 silver 800 branded by italian mark of parma or piacenza, circa 1870: stylized lily flower / numbered 516 / additionally, inscription: 'sterling' is visible.
