Monumental yet finely detailed, this highly decorative bed combines the architectural presence of an Anglo-Indian Raj bed with the pierced carving, floral arabesques and geometric ornament associated with Moorish and Mughal Revival design.

The focal point is the tall, three-part headboard, constructed with an elaborate sequence of hand-carved and pierced wood panels. Each section incorporates repeating floral medallions, scrolling foliage, openwork lattice carving and rhythmic geometric borders.
