Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this wooden altar console table features a long and narrow rectangular top with central board and very distressed patina, sitting above a simple apron. Boasting a nicely weathered appearance revealing its good age and use, the table is raised on four slender straight legs showcasing horse hoof extremities. The sides are strengthened thanks to small hump back stretchers. The ensemble presents a dark reddish brown lacquer with distressing present throughout the structure.
