An excellent large full-color print of color lithograph "Contes De Boccace" by Marc Chagall, for cover of Verve magazine. This issue of Verve with illustrations by Marc Chagall for Boccaccio's Decameron was published in April of 1950. This full-color print is second edition printed in Switzerland in 1987, in a rare art book dedicated to Verve. Superb quality. Publisher even had to put word "reproduction" below the image and at the lower right corner of the piece. Detailed. Rich colors. Reproduction of black and white illustration from Verve is printed on back. Excellent condition - minor edge wear, never framed.
