This ferocious large classical lion door knocker has been saved from a pre-eminent building in Palm Beach. The knocker is attached at either side of the mouth and is operational. There are foliate scrolls surrounding the lion's face. It has been gilt and lacquered.
This is not your usual Lion “DoorKnocker” with its mouth open in a roaring position
plus its heritage of having lived on a door in Palm Beach for decades.
