Marked with Moorcroft mark, made in England, potter to HM the Queen.

This is a rich deep blue vase accented with hand painted pomegranates, berries, and leaves in deep rich colors. This pattern was designed by William Moorcroft (Moorcroft founder) and has the hand signed full blue signature of his son Walter Moorcroft. This full signature was reserved for important pieces, exhibition pieces, or limited editions. It has the impressed Made in England stamp at the top of the base and another impressed stamp at the bottom "Potter to HM Queen" used with facsimile signature of William Moorcroft circa 1928-1949. Some crazing on bottom of base. Some rub marks on the sides and bottom. Excellent and beautiful piece of Moorcroft pottery for your collection. See less
