There are minor chips, areas where some paint is missing and some small bites out of the surface area. All are to be expected with chalkware of this age. The damages are featured in the attached photos. The damage is mostly reserved to areas of the shelf that aren’t visible when it is hung on a wall for display purposes. The largest chip is in the rear of the top and is visible in the aforementioned photographs. There are a couple small areas with missing paint on the highly visible areas of the piece. less
