A clean, Minimalist, über-heavy, solid marble plinth table lamp of Italian 1960s production.
We love a carved stone lamp, especially when it's a stoic architectural form and easy to use anywhere, between a pair of lounge chairs, on a nightstand, on a credenza, etc.
The weight is impressive, requiring two hands to lift and carry it; it is marked only with the original "Made In Italy" sticker, near the cord outlet. It does bear dimensional similarity to the plinth marble lamps produced by Florence Knoll for Knoll International from the same era.
A vintage shade has been added and is included, as well as the harp and marble finial, which is a miniature version of the lamp base. The lamp remains in overall good original vintage condition with some abrasions and light chipping at edges. The chrome neck of the lamp has a slight lean which is not very noticeable under the shade, but noted as information for the buyer. Shade shows light handling wear. Presentation overall is very nice.
