Tilt top tables were designed to save space when not in use. The mechanics of this table are in working condition. Made in the mid 20th century of walnut, this table is a wonderful reproduction of the Georgian style. The tripod base with pad feet support a turned and reeded column base. The tilting mechanism locks with a brass piece. The glass was a later addition for surface protection. Please see all pictures and condition notes.
The “Oxblood Antique” stamp on the underside refers to the color of the finish.

A foot has been repaired ( see picture ) but is now sound. The are a few minor scratches on the surface of the top. The glass is not chipped or cracked. less
