Absolutely charming and unusual ,Fantasy Plates depicting Male and Female chimps, dressed as humans, sitting on a cresent moon.
The cloudy background and sea below add to the storybook quality. Marked "TMV" on the back, the plates measure 9.5 inches wide and are in very good condition. The female plate has a small chip on the edge, looks like the clouds, and a sliver off on the back -not noticeable. The Male chimp has some minor loss on his green pants. Overall, they look quite perfect and are really an unusual and fascinating depiction.
