Centuries ago Chinese artisans perfected the art of enamel held in place by thin brass wires. This unique trinket dish takes it even further with the addition of a highly carved center of white jade covered with a thin protective layer of glass. Surrounded by a floral border on a black ground. Marked "CHINA" on the reverse side.
Measures 4.38" x.50" high.
In excellent antique condition with no issues dents, dings, or marks of note. Jade shows no cracks, chips, or damage. See photos for details.
