This is a beautiful vintage winter landscape oil painting, rich in texture and detail. The artist uses a cool palette giving this piece wonderful depth and mood. The use of perspective with the calm and frozen lake in the foreground and snow covered forest in the background adds complexity to this charming scene that you will never grow tired of. Signed lower right side " illegible signature" C,1970's. Created with oils on stretcher canvas. It has been mounted in a wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side.
