This is a matted original 1980's fashion design from a French Parisian designer, Drusy Passerini. Drusy was a “stylist modeliste” who designed for sportswear couturiers in Paris in the early 1980’s. Her designs were signed and all Drusy designs were registered in Parisian fashion registries. The sportswear designs were created and sold at the time in the fashion district in Paris in such houses as Patrick Viane and Saint-Clair. This design is for summer sportswear that is perfect beachwear or cruise wear. It is done in watercolor and pen and ink on a fine tissue drawing paper affixed with corner staples to a second sheet of acid free paper. We acquired this from a Parisian vender who specializes in original fashion drawings. The drawing showcases a 2 piece pantalon set with floral designs that is casual summer resort wear. This is a real find as original beach wear fashion drawings are indeed rare! Purchased by us in Paris. This drawing is pristine, 8 x 11.5. Great for a summer home, beach house, or hostess gift!
