Eugene Henri Paul Gauguin ( 1848 - 1903 ) the French born artist is recognized for his experimental use of color and synthetist style that were distinctly different from Impressionism. His work was influential to the French Avant - Garde and many other artists such as Picasso and Matisse.

The lithograph print was printed in 1972 in Japan. It features an artwork image originally created by Gauguin in 1882 titled " Still Life With Flowers ". The lithograph print is a page from an authentic vintage artists publication. The lithograph print plate is attached to the page with a process called tipping where it is attached by hand on 3 corners. This print is suitable for framing.

The print measures 6 1/4" W x 10 1/4" H, on a page that is 9 1/4" W x 12 1/4" H. There is unrelated text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image.
