An attractive piece originally hand carved and painted but now much of the painted decoration has faded with use and age. On the front there are 2 carved painted panels, at the centre there is a hasp catch. The chest stands on small feet and it has a broad back so it can be opened without clearing the top, very handy. The chest is heavy quality and is a desirable piece of free standing storage furniture. The chest is 46” long, 23” deep, 16” high. See less
