These two busts depict tribal African couple wearing a headdress, a metal necklace and dangling wire earrings.
African Tribal Folk Art Decor, hand carved by an unidentified artist.
Circa: 1950s/1960s.
Hagenauer was inspired by African artist when he sculpted his famous African Lady elongated sculpture, Picasso and all the European early and mid 20th century artists took inspiration from African artist.
Dimensions each head: Base : 1.75" x 2.75" x 6.75" H.
Condition: Some rust on metal.
