PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND!! “Rain” Sidney Schatzky collagraph with intaglio, circa 70s 80s. Finely detailed limited edition print numbered 17/25. Reminds me of classic American tattoo style crossed with tribal, almost Balinese Batuan allegorical painting.
Schatzky’s work can be found in the Brooklyn Museum and, more recently, he has been working as a ceramicist. Framed nicely in a gilded carved wood under glass. Framed measurements are 27” wide x 32.5” tall. The artwork measures 20” x 24” within the matte. Please ask any and all questions prior to offer or purchase.
